When I try ti used AnyConnect 4.8 on my Mac, I enter vpn dress (vpn.s...com) and I have immediately an error message (before identify window) : "Posture assessment failed : unable to download CSD library. Please try again". Then I clic on "OK" and I see "Connection attempt has failed".

This is ITaP's "AnyConnect Portal" page. If everything progresses automatically and (after perhaps 30-60 seconds) you see a prompt for your Purdue Career Account username and password, enter your BoilerKey 2 factor authentication credentials and you'll be start the process of downloading/installing Purdue's VPN.
Within the now open dmg(disk image file) double click on the installer package, in this case called "anyconnect-macos-4.8.03036-core-vpn-webdeploy-k9.pkg" but will change relative to name of the related DMG file you just downloaded.
Using the profile editor: The VPN profile editor can be downloaded from the AnyConnect Settings page on dashboard or on Cisco.com. The profile editor only runs on Windows operating systems. The screenshot below shows a configured server ton the Server List Entry option.
Neither Cisco nor UBIT support these legacy versions. Instead, upgrade your operating system whenever possible (free from Apple) and then download and use the current, supported version of AnyConnect.
I used anyconnect-macos-4.8.01090-predeploy-k9.dmg to install anyconnect, it only works once after I install it. (I will then connect to my company's VPN, before that it will automatically upgrade itself to version 4.10.04065 after installation, then the connection is successful). 2b1af7f3a8
