With this download manager you will enjoy comfortable features when it comes to downloading files by avoiding host sites inconveniences. Mipony is in charge of everything, it accesses the web where the file is hosted, it waits the required time and starts downloading them one by one. Put the addresses of the files in Mipony and the program will be in charge of everything to have the files downloaded as fast as possible.
Sometimes, new apps you download can show up on your Home Screen, but sometimes they might go directly to the App Library, so make sure to check both when wondering where are downloads on iPad and iPhone.
Now that you know where do downloads go on iPhone and how to access downloads on iPhone, you might still encounter situations when your files are not where they are supposed to be, meaning not in the Downloads folder.
Transloader is a handy app for both your Mac and iPhone that lets you download any file remotely. So you can initiate a download on your iPhone but actually download the file to your Mac. This is perfect for situations when files are too big for your phone or you just want to use them on Mac in the first place.
As you can see, learning how to access downloads on iPhone and iPad is quite easy. You can even supercharge your workflow by adding AnyTrans for iOS for moving files around, Transloader for downloading things remotely to your Mac, and Disk Drill for recovering lost files and saving backups.
Same problem. The guidance above (i.e. I clicked keep original and download) did not work. The photos are still blurred and exclamation mark is still there. Please assist with bringing photos to original size. That's important. Thanks
Basically this signifies that the pictures are stored in iCloud. While the advice given in this thread so far is fine, it will result in the downloading of all your photos which, depending on how many, will take a while and a lot of extra space on your device. It should be sufficient to tap on the photos you want to see and they will download if you have an internet connection. The blur and exclamation mark will disappear.
The first setting is the size slider. If you have the screen real estate, larger is usually better. At its largest size, the Dock automatically scales to the size of the screen based on how many icons it contains.
The command inserts an empty space (about the size of an icon) in the Dock. You get one space every time the command is issued. The spaces can be dragged around. I use them to divide icons into groups. That makes it easier for me to find them (especially since icon design tends to gravitate towards blue/white). I have one group for email, message, calendar, etc.; one for web browsing and rss; and for word processing and number crunching; one for all things sound related; and so on. When the space is not needed anymore, just right-click and choose to remove it from the Dock.
For multiple folders in the Dock: Since folder icons in the Dock look all the same (except for system folders like Apps), you can change them in their info box (by selecting the folder image and pasting a replacement image). I have made a bunch of folder icons with letters in them, so I know what they are, e.g. one with "D" (= downloads).
Last but not least, it's worth mentioning that only certain HBO Max users can download titles for offline viewing. More specifically, you need to have HBO Max's Ad-Free plan if you want to download stuff. The Ad-Free subscription costs $14.99/month (or $149.99/year) and also removes ads and upgrades video quality to 4K UHD.
If you pay for HBO Max's cheaper With Ads plan, you won't be able to download anything. It's an annoying stipulation, but it's one seen in many streaming apps these days. The With Ads plan is great if you never plan on downloading shows and want to save some money each month, but if you ever find yourself wanting to download an HBO Max show, you'll need to pony up for the Ad-Free subscription.
Now let's say you want to set up one of the photos as your new wallpaper. On your Android device, press down on any empty area of the screen until you see several icons. Tap Wallpapers, then select the photos or gallery option. The photos you just copied should be in your photo gallery. Tap the one you want to use as your wallpaper and then tap Set as Wallpaper or Done.
Now open the service's app on your phone and navigate to the album with the photos you uploaded. From Google Photos, you can tap a specific photo and download it to your phone for use as wallpaper or storing in your mobile photo library.
We recommend that you create a section on your computer for your downloaded records, and then create folders for each surname or line for easy reference later. You can also upload these files manually one by one back in to your tree so that you can view them later in context, since manually uploaded media files continue to be accessible after a subscription ends.
1. The first is to simply go through and manually download, one by one, each record as outlined above. Work on it little by little everyday in order of importance so it does not become overwhelming. Make sure to rename each file for easy organizing and place it in a safe location on your computer where you can find it later. This takes a long time for large trees but is worth it if you want permanent access to these files.
Family Tree Maker Sync makes this article obsolete. FTM downloads all media and source data from these linked records while you have a subscription. Then you can discontinue your paid subscription if you wish and you can still access these items on your computer.
While I do download the majority of records I add to my tree, there have been those moments when winding down for the night or feeling rushed have resulted in no downloads. Phew! You truly have lifted a huge weight from my shoulders.
I have a question. I notice that more and more people are downloading and re-uploading documentation to their trees, which puts them as the original submitters with no source citations attached. I understand that many members feel that they are paying for the documentation by way of subscription, however, I feel it is still right/proper to add a source citation so that others know from whence you have originally found the documentation.
Good article. I do like ancestry.com but I tell people to be careful with their recurring billing practices, and to take a screen grab or download any content you get from them while subscribed, otherwise you may come back and find it locked off.
I have always downloaded the documents from ancestry, and then renamed them in the form 1876census_Williamjones family , and filed them in the Jones-William folder. But I do wonder if the name that they have when downloaded has any relevance that I might find useful in the future?
I have tried to deal with Ancestry and always find they want more and more money for everything. Also, I have gone on genealogy sites thinking they are free and they turn out to be owned by Ancestry. I have given up on dealing with them to get any kind of fair priced help with my genealogy. By the way, you ask how Christian is that, I believe they think Jesus is an angel not the Son of God. So technically, they are not Christian. If you belong to a library in your city, you can get a lot of free help with genealogy like Heritage Quest. You just need a library card and they will show you how to download it. That site can lead you to other more reasonable Family Tree sites. Bea
Very interesting. I think one needs to download the records both to your tree, and make a copy if you want one, also downloading your tree to a gedcom is important. What I find is a lot of incorrect work both on ancestry and on family search and few want suggestions that there are errors on their tree nor do they even have the courtesy to reply. Too many people just copy info off other peoples tree assuming if there are a number the same that they are right. If you cannot find records to support those trees do not take their information it just perpetuates error. Always remember because its on a website, or on someones family tree and everyone researching this family has the same information, or its written in a book or a relative said so, or it is the family story does NOT make it true.
I think everyone should download every document they find and have access to, but they should also save to their trees because those documents benefit others researching the same names. If they have a paid membership, they can see what you have saved.
Print Window offers the ability to print a file listing directly from within the Mac OS X Finder. No more taking screenshots of windows or settling for text-only printouts of filenames only. Print Window provides the works: icons, file information, sorting and so much more!
